Transportation: From the Early Republican period to the Present

This article attempts to study the development of transportation from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic and from the early Republic to the present. The importance of transportation has been illustrated and the development of railways, roads, autobahns, maritime and airlines have been examined. In the wight of this information the state of the transportation sector has been evaluated.
