On the Origins of the m-b and c Semems in Mongolian

In Mongolian in addition to roots and suffixes there are prefixes and infixes. These have lexico-morphological meaning rather than morphological meanings. The prefixes and infixes can be classified as vocal semems and syllabic semems. The vocal semem is formed (CV) by the elimination of the vowel in the syllabic semem. This article approaches to Mong. m-b and c phonetic semems from this perspective
