The present study has focused on the theme the ethnic origin myths act in formation and building of ethnic groups and nations, and on the basis of this theme the contributor has attempted to investigate the Turkish genealogical legends in the Chinese sources and the other arguments in the ancient Turkish linguistic and archeological materials. Also the work has tried to discuss the contributions on the subject.
