A Renewable Energy Resource: Geothermal Energy

Due to its characteristics geothermal energy is an important source of energy. With respect to social and economic reasons the widespread use of geothermal energy in Türkiye should be an important target. The present study examines the uses of geothermal energy, its use in Türkiye and the world and the social and economic advantages. The necessary legal developments in Türkiye for the activation of geothermal energy potential in Türkiye and the widespread use of it have also been discussed.
