"Hayat mı Bu? (Is This Life?): A novel by Ayaz İshakî

Ayaz İshakî has an important place not only in Tatar literary history, but also in the Turkish-Tatar movement due to his contributions. This article presents the life, literary works and the main themes in the works of the writer and analyses in full this novel Hayat mı Bu? The novel, was written in İstanbul in 1909, depicts the youth problems and conflicts that the writer has experienced. The work reflects the social relations, the society and their effect on the personality of the writer.
