The Role of Information Technologies in Social Change

Due to the rapid technological developments the world is gaining through a period of intensive and continual change. Especially, the developments in the field of information technologies have become striking and strategically important. Moreover, the developments in this field provide one of the basic dynamics of globalisation. This article emphasizes the necessity of implementing the principles and applications necessary in the age of information so as to prevent the problems created by rapid technological developments and the utmost importance of the establishment the essential technical and legal infrastructure for the society.
